He won the PKA Middleweight World title in only his second fight in 1974. He defended that championship 11 times over the years before retiring with 23 wins and 0 losses. Bill Wallace has also written several books including The Best of Bill Wallace, Competitive Karate: Featuring the Superfoot System, The Ultimate Kick, Dynamic Kicking & Stretching, and Karate: Basic Concepts & Skills. Wallace served as a personal trainer and was also a close friend of both John Belushi and Elvis Presley and found Belushi dead in his hotel room.
