Beverly D’Onofrio has also authored the children’s books Mary and the Mouse, the Mouse and Mary in 2007 and Thank You, Lucky Stars in 2008. Her essays have been published in The New York Times, The Village Voice, The Washing Post Sunday magazine, and the Los Angeles Times as well as in magazines including Cosmopolitan, Allure, O, The Oprah Magazine, and Marie Claire. She earned her MFA from Columbia University and has taught writing at both New York University and the University of Wyoming and later at Wilkes University. She wrote and co-produced the 2001 film Riding in Cars with Boys.
